To further support the implementation work under the Alberta-NWT Agreement, additional work was undertaken to learn more about the extent of permafrost in the transboundary region, identifying areas that are most vulnerable to permafrost and potential impacts on water quality and quantity. The report focuses on the Liard/Petitot, Kakisa, Hay, Buffalo, Slave, and Taltson river basins.
