The GNWT is working in collaboration with the Government of B.C. to make sure the commitments of the Bilateral Management Agreement are met. The GNWT is of the view that this and other Mackenzie River Basin Bilateral Water Management Agreements promote effective transboundary water management in the NWT and better ensure water flowing into the NWT will remain substantially unaltered in quality, quantity, and rate of flow.
